Vision – New dental education with a unique educational concept!

In collaboration with Region Jönköping County and Linköping University, Jönköping University wants to start a new dental education with a unique educational concept. The application was sent to the government in March 2022.

The new center for dental care with undergraduate and postgraduate education will be located within the university area of Jönköping University and will be built entirely on the basis of the requirements for a state-of-the-art education and a center for dentistry.

Work on a new detailed plan for the area south of Munksjögatan is ongoing and consultation was held on the first of March 2022.

Jönköping University is expected to grow for many years to come and needs to ensure the possibility of continued expansion. The detailed plan enables an expansion in three stages of a total of approximately 43000 m2 BTA incl. garage, of which stage 1 is about 22000 m2.
